11 things to do in Rio de Janeiro with rain
The Wonderful City offers the most variety of activities that a city can offer, trails, beaches, bars, art fairs, festivals, events, museums. But when it rains? Innate feeling that all we had to do over? No!!!!! Follow here a list of many things you can do with your family or friends in the rain!

1 – Confeitaria Colombo
For a leisurely lunch or a lazy afternoon. Confeitaria Colombo, founded in 1894, is located in the Downtown of Rio de Janeiro and has the most famous afternoon tea in town. In addition to sweet and savory taste delicious, it is possible to meet one of the most historical places in the Wonderful City.
2 – São Cristóvão Fair
Also known as Northeastern Fair, officially named Luiz Gonzaga of Northeastern Traditions Center, this pavilion in São Cristóvão summarizes the essence of the Northeast. Are stalls and stores with typical products, stages with forró and similar shows and restaurants specializing in the cuisine of the northeastern region. Fan of karaoke? So you should come here!! With many places with karaoke, perfect for a marathon of karaoke with friends:P

3 – Amanhã Museum
The Museum is dedicated to the sciences, but with a very different format from the other museums, here visitors go through different types of interactive experience. You can get many hours in here and not see the time passing. If you get hungry, MAR (Museum of Art) is here the flip side and has a very good restaurant on the top floor.
4 – Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB)
Opened in 1906 as the seat of the trade association, the building was completely restored, is one of the most beautiful of the downtown Rio. The transformation in the Cultural Center was made in 1989 and, since then, the place is home to some of the best exhibitions of the city. In addition, the coffee installed here is great for enjoying the architecture of the place.

Humaitá and Lapa
Snooker in Rio de Janeiro is a direct reflection of the spirit of the city: flexible and relaxed climate, so the vibe ”without haste” to a rainy afternoon generates is the perfect opportunity to try it. 7 – Lagoon
O Lagoon é um centro de gastronomia, esporte, cultura e entretenimento em um só lugar. Localizado na Lagoa, tem vista panorâmica para um dos mais belos cartões-postais do Rio de Janeiro. Mesmo com chuva, a vista pra Lagoa é sensacional. Uma ótima pedida para um final de tarde ou uma noite romântica ou com os amigos e a familia.
8 – Maracanã Tour
How about a Maracanã Tour? Get to know behind the scenes, the locker room, warming room and view the grassy area with access to the reserve benches and chairs. 11 – Shoppings
Nothing better than doing some shopping to cure the depression of the lost beach day, right? The city of Rio de Janeiro has malls to give and sell, below we list some of the options most used by the locals.
Shopping Rio Sul – One of the main shopping malls in the city, with 400 stores and several options of Rio de Janeiro and Brazilian brands. The strong point of the South River is the proximity of the hotels, since it is well on the other side of the tunnel that connects Botafogo to Copacabana. Ideal for anyone who wants to avoid traffic and rain.
Shopping Leblon – Another good option to fill the bags. In the heart of Leblon, one of the most famous neighborhoods of the city, the shopping center has 200 stores of the main brands of Rio de Janeiro. The mall has theaters and good cinemas, which makes it a good option for rainy nights.
Barra Shopping –Recently enlarged (for bigger than it already was), the gigantic mall is in Barra da Tijuca, a must see. Variety of shops, Hot Zone, Cinema, Restaurant. Worth a visit for some shopping on this rainy day.
